On Friday April 17 The Underground Railroad to Candyland, from San Pedro, played at the SyncSpace in Los Angeles located on Melrose Avenue. The Underground Railroad to Candyland, or for short URTC, has been playing fun, pop/punk hits like, Square Ball (off of their self titled album) since 2006. Frontman Todd Congelliere, founder of Recess Records, formed URTC with Casey Ferrara, keys and floor tom, and Jimmy Felix, drums, who played with Congelliere in Toys That Kill. Joel Morales, Dios Malos front man, holds down the bass and Jack Blast, along with everyone else at the show, back up Congelliere on vocals. Also playing that night were Ninjasonik and Japanther, both from Brooklyn, New York.
